After a decade of working in the legal industry, he grew tired of seeing how a large percentage of lawyers and quasi legal service providers take advantage of their clients. Charging excessive fees, entering practice areas that they have no understanding, and making decisions that benefited the lawyer and not the client was common place.

Feeling like the legal system was broken, attorney El-Hag decided to create an organization that could take all of the guess work out of finding trusted counsel in your life.

We provide honest guidance and caution in guiding you to make the best decision in your case. For example, we hardly every take hourly fee clients because we like to find good cases and partner with our clients by only getting paid if we succeed. But, sometimes people have offered to pay us hourly fees when we turn their case down. And we tell the clients we will not take their money because their case is so risky that the chance of getting their money back is very unlikely. Many times, these clients go to other lawyers who are happy to take their hard earned money for a losing case. That is not part of our philosophy.

We also do not deceive you by giving advice on things we do not know. And if we are confronted with a unique legal problem, we seek out the best people to answer the question. And we do not charge for that. Its our responsibility to know the law.

When speaking to them, they did not know the answer to his legal questions, and they wanted him to pay $20,000 for them to do the research and make the recommendation. Clients do not go to lawyers and pay them to do research, the lawyer’s job is to develop the expertise as part of their craft and to charge for the service. And instead, for example, attorney El-Hag could pay a law librarian a fraction of the price to do the research, or to do it himself. The problem is, these things are common practice.
